Deep within the Dark Hemisphere lived a race of bat-men with a reputation for being treacherous pirates. None were more sinister than the mysterious mercenary Batros. Batros viewed alliances with disdain. He nevertheless joined forces with Skeletor, as it brought him closer to his goal of gaining the powers of Grayskull for himself. During one of these adventures, he conspired with the Overlord of Evil to steal all the royal records and books from the library of Eternos. Although this sinister plot ultimately failed, Batros remained a stealthy foe to the Masters of the Universe and all who fought for Eternia's freedom.
