SYNOPSIS

Real name: Adora from the House of Randor

After years of fighting the Space Mutants and the Horde Empire, the Protectors formed a truce with Skeletor to defeat Horde Prime once and for all. After He-Man and Skeletor were struck by Prime's Vortex Beam, She-Ra was left alone against Prime's might. Invoking the honor of Grayskull, she drained Prime's armor of its magic, breaking the spell that prolonged his life and that of his Horde followers. In an exception to her principle of protecting all life, Adora pierced Prime's body with her sword—ending the Horde Empire's threat. But Prime's evil soul burst from his body, taking over She-Ra's armor and darkening her soul. She-Ra became Despara once again , the dark warrior queen once created by Shadow Weaver's magic. When Despara was unleashed, she revived Skeletor—and in doing so, contributed to the downfall of Eternia!
