Fifty years before Prince Adam was born, the warrior Vykron fought in the gladiatorial arena of Lord Choloh, ruler of the Liana Jungle. Learning from each defeated opponent, he became a master of numerous fighting techniques and weapons. As much a competitor as an entertainer, he often dressed in elaborate garments to excite the audience and display his skills. In his final battle, he fought the giant Gygor. Before a cheering crowd, the vicious fighting gorilla ripped Vykron's body in two, ultimately defeating the arena master. Following his battle, Gygor claimed not only the arena championship but also dominion over the jungle itself by forcing Choloh to abdicate his throne. In life, Vykron was the finest of Choloh's gladiatorial warriors, fighting at any time in any environment.
