One hundred years before Prince Adam was born, Wun-Dar, a warrior from the depths of the savage, subterranean city of Tundaria, rescued a young woman who turned out to be "The Goddess" of Eternia. She equipped him with cosmic battle armor and an advanced ray gun that granted him nearly unlimited power. The goddess charged Wun-Dar with protecting both halves of the Sword of He and preventing them from merging if they fell into the hands of evil.
