SYNOPSIS

Real name: Veena Grayskull

After her husband's death, Grayskull's widow remained in his castle and, as Guardian, took on the solitary task of watching over the secret Orb she had helped create, imbued with the power of the universe. Knowing that the united blade was now the key to summoning this power, she split He-Ro's sword in half with the help of the Sages and her apprentice Sharella. While she continued to guard the Orb, Sharella became a goddess, choosing brave heroes to protect the twin blades and prevent them from being joined at the hands of evil. The Guardian of Grayskull dedicated her entire life to protecting the castle, occasionally accessing the Orb of power, including during the battles against the Fighting Foe Men. Shortly before her death, when she had reached a very old age, she found a new Guardian to whom she entrusted the task of preserving the secrets of Castle Grayskull.
